For us, the creative process is the space where meaning is formed and ultimately revealed. What matters to us is the inner understanding of the need and desire of each member of the project to speak out - all participants, whether artist, viewer or partner, become part of a shared space built on trust.
We wish to create an environment where people whose paths may never have crossed can sit together and share meaningful experiences, free from judgement. Here, the performance is not a spectacle, but an opportunity to dive into deep self-reflection.
Dear friends,
My name is Egor Trukhin. I’m a director and actor working across theater and film. In 2022, I left Russia in protest of the war and continued my work in Israel, Georgia, Europe and now the U.S. Everywhere I’ve seen the same thing: people need stories that connect us. Especially now, when aggression and hatred are becoming the norm.
Trukhin Ark is the space I’ve created to gather the works that matter most to me, and to begin new ones together with others.
It is not a company or a formal structure. It’s my creative home where new performances and films can be born through collaboration and process. I believe in artists who have something real to say to the audience. And I believe in trust.
If you are a producer, a sponsor, or a supporter drawn to international co-productions and new cross-cultural stories, I warmly invite you to connect.
