About

In his authorial method, Egor Trukhin understands theater as a dream – an attempt to create his own world and to build a temporary home inside the theatrical space. Trukhin’s work focuses on the human being as a living contradiction — vulnerable, lonely, and searching.
“I believe that theater can sometimes allow us to feel and experience something we may never face in life. Each time, I try to create a zone where, at least for a short time, this becomes possible. This is the most difficult task in theater.”
— Egor Trukhin,
director and founder of Trukhin Ark
